Growing Healthy Families aims to educate family caregivers on how to grow healthy families through good nutrition. Taking into account the realities of Africa, it focuses on the best nutrition for every life stage: infancy, early childhood, middle childhood, adolescence, early adulthood, middle adulthood, and old age.
With practical solutions and colourful illustrations, this book provides up-to-date information and sound advice for anyone who wants to ensure that their family members – whether a baby, teenager or grandparent – enjoy optimal health.
Each section features a Life Stage Challenge that is significant to that particular stage, such as diarrhoea in infancy, pregnancy in early adulthood, or osteoporosis and arthritis in old age.
Growing Healthy Families will inspire healthy eating at every stage of life!
